Participants will learn how to:

  • Utilize the tools palette.
  • Import text and graphics from other files and programs, including Microsoft Office.
  • Work with text frames and graphics in Adobe InDesign.
  • Employ tools for editing text and graphics.
  • Create decorative text effects.
  • Link text boxes logically.
  • Create a personal library of useful assets.
  • Create custom character styles, graphic elements, fonts, and colors.
  • Save time by using tools for quickly switching between created styles.
  • Create repetitive design patterns.
  • Work with colors across various palettes.
  • Work with multi-page documents.
  • Set up pagination and sections.
  • Manage linked external files.
  • Print the document.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with vector and raster graphics is beneficial but not mandatory
