Session 1 (4h)

Module 1 – AIS for functional + new S/4 features (2h)

  • S/4HANA vs. ECC: Processes and table structures (ACDOCA, BP, workflows).
  • Capturing functional evidence (via Fiori and traditional transactions).

Module 2 – Process-oriented access management (2h)

  • PFCG roles and Fiori catalogs/spaces: Requesting and validating minimum access requirements.
  • Using SU53/SUIM for rapid diagnosis.
  • Establishing a RACI matrix by process and identifying 'pragmatic' SoD issues.

Session 2 (4h) Module 3 – FI/CO with focus on control (2h)

  • OB52 settings, tolerances, and accounting authorizations.
  • Approval processes for journal entries (via Fiori workflow) and associated evidence.
  • Traceability of changes in accounting master data and bank accounts.

Module 4 – MM/SD with focus on control (2h)

  • MM: Purchase release strategies (classic and flexible workflow), price changes.
  • SD: Price/Discount Conditions, Credit Management at FSCM.
  • Evidence collection: Change docs, logs, and standard reports.

Session 3 (4h) Module 5 – Logs and operational evidence (3h)

  • SM20 analysis: Identifying what, who, and when in functional contexts.
  • SCU3: Tracking changes in master data (BP, materials, conditions).
  • STAD/ST03N: Analyzing transaction and application execution.
  • Exporting data (ALV/CSV/PDF) and assembling annexes.

Module 6 – Quality and testing (1h)

  • Designing test cases with clear acceptance criteria and minimal evidence requirements.

Session 4 (4h) Module 7 – Applied process laboratory (3h)

  • Mini-project: Managing purchase and sales cycles with exceptional scenarios.
  • Gathering evidence and compiling a comprehensive dossier.

Module 8 – Closing and transition to operation (1h)

  • Operational checklists and periodic control schedules.
  • Best practices for audits and regulatory compliance.

Deliverables:

  • Test case templates and RACI/SoD matrices.
  • Standard report set (SUIM, SM20, SCU3, ALV lists).

Requirements

  • Functional experience in FI/MM/SD modules.
  • Access to a test client environment.
  • Familiarity with basic audit or control concepts is beneficial.
