Module 1: Identity Mapping & Shared Awareness
Goal: Establish psychological safety and a foundation for understanding individual and team diversity in a hybrid world
Activities:
- Emotional Weather Check-in (quick personal intros using emotion emojis)
- Identity Mapping Wall – Participants select tags (cultural origin, generation, hybrid style, values) on a shared digital board (Miro/Mural/whiteboard)
- Breakout Sharing – Stories behind identities (3x3 groups)
Module 2: Cultural Intelligence vs Emotional Intelligence
Goal: Understand the interplay between CQ and EQ for navigating diverse and emotionally complex workspaces
Key Topics:
- The 4 CQ Capabilities: Drive, Knowledge, Strategy, Action
- EQ in action: Self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, relational mastery
- Navigating bias, misunderstanding, and misalignment across age, culture, and workstyle
- Generational perspectives on authority, flexibility, and feedback
- Emotional resilience in dispersed teams
- Hybrid conflict and tough conversations
Experiences & Exercises:
- CQ & EQ Self-Awareness Test (dual model rapid diagnostic)
- Generational Values Mapping (team puzzle with fictional personas)
- The EQ Mirror – Participants practice active speaking; peers give structured feedback on warmth, tone, pauses, and word choice
- Tough Talk Scenarios – Roleplay high-stakes hybrid conflict and feedback conversations with observer insights
Module 3: Collaboration in the Hybrid World
Goal: Redesign habits, rituals, and digital behaviors for inclusive and high-impact hybrid collaboration
Key Topics:
- Asynchronous vs synchronous communication mastery
- Hybrid meeting rituals, expectations, and equity
- Psychological safety and trust without “hallway” contact
- The New Rules of Presence – How to project warmth, clarity, and leadership across screens
Exercises:
- Hybrid Meeting Autopsy – Audit a recent team interaction, identify energy leaks
- Collaboration Channel Challenge – Redesign team communications based on reach, impact, and emotional tone
- Presence Simulation – Participants practice short messages (video, chat, email) aimed at warmth/authority across formats, then receive peer scores
- Rapid Ritual Building – Teams design a “Better Hybrid Monday” routine using shared async/sync tools
Module 4: The Human Collaboration Canvas
Goal: Consolidate everything into a practical, team-level Collaboration Blueprint
Key Themes:
- Redefining decision-making, conflict, celebration, feedback, and connection
- Creating rituals for connection and flexibility
Activities:
- Human Collaboration Canvas – Teams complete a structured template covering:
- Team tone & norms
- Decision & conflict strategy
- Meeting cadence
- Trust & flexibility rituals
- Check-in/check-out methods
- Commitment Circle – Each participant commits to 3 new collaboration behaviors to try in their real team
- Reflection Wall – Collective mural of key insights and changes
Wrap-Up
- “One Shift I’ll Make” Open Mic
- Digital Certificate & Post-Session Toolkit
- Invite to CQ/EQ Follow-Up Clinic (optional)
